Mike and I are so pleased with the Hidden Fence System from Dog Watch. The Fence combined with great service made the experience so satisfying. We were really worried about our Gigi, as she is so active, and chases everything. Thought for sure she’d go through it. But, both Gigi and her sister Sydney are doing so great! They get so much exercise and love the freedom to run and play, and chase to a certain point. By the end of the day they are so exhausted and ready to relax. My neighbor and I have 40 acres and 6 dogs, combined. It had been our desire to link 32-34 acres of our properties so the dogs could interact and would also stay out of the deer plots on the remaining land. We tried a do-it-yourself system from the builder’s supply but it did not have the power to stop our dogs from violating the perimeter and the customer service folks at that company could not help us. So, after a couple of years of trying one thing or another and then nothing for a while, I noticed your ad in the yellow pages that said it was for acreage.
DogWatch pet fence was effective from the outset. That is due in part to the hardware and in part to the time that you spent working with our dogs.
Finally, I want to acknowledge and thank you for the service-after-sale. We've had breaks in the wire from deer hooves (particularly in swampy areas) and even from an armadillo. The repairs have been prompt and accomplished patiently. Likewise, when we added a dog, you responded very soon after notice and worked to acclimate her to the system.

We're so glad we had Dogwatch put in our Hidden Fence System - our lab loved to run away as soon as he got outside, but since we've put in the fence, he hasn't left our property once......not even when other dogs come by. The system has never given us a problem and when we did call for a new battery or questions regarding training, Lori's response was always prompt and professional. She was also very patient and gave us the encouragement we needed with the initial training. We liked our system so much, we recommended it to our neighbors who have two dogs, one which we thought would never stay on his property , but it works great for them now as well. Ken and I want to thank you for the tremendous job you did in the installation and training of Pepper on our DogWatch Hidden Fence System.
Some years ago on a former property I had dogs on the Invisible Fence System for over 15 years so I was familiar with the concept of having a dog trained on this type of system. While researching pet fences for dogs for our current property I became interested in Dogwatch initially because of the FM technology and the advantages it offered over the other competitor’s system. After speaking with Donna on the phone I became aware how much more individualized and comprehensive the training is with each dog that is trained with the Dogwatch system and felt it offered a big advantage over any other system I researched.
As I mentioned we had two dogs trained on The Invisible Fence system back in the mid 1980s. Immediately after installation of the system the training basically consisted of showing the dogs the flags, giving a correction and having the pet owner take it from there. While some dogs do okay with this method - it does not take into consideration each dog’s unique needs, temperament etc. We had an older female black lab that, after receiving the first correction, was very fearful to leave the house and go out into the yard. The initial correction / training was too rushed for her and she would crouch and cower on the lawn upon going out the door. Needless to say it caused us a lot of heartache to see her so scared to go out into her own yard!
Because of the time you took to get to know Pepper and therefore train and progress at a pace that worked for him - he is not only safe but HAPPY in his yard. To my knowledge no other underground dog fences service offers what you do and in my mind that makes it an obvious and easy choice to single out Dogwatch above the rest. I wanted to write a little note to compliment you on your professional and courteous customer service as well as the quality and performance of your product. I have had the privilege of owning several dogs over the last twenty some years and through those years I have had the opportunity to purchase various forms of pet fences for dogs to keep mine safe and at home. I am pleased to say that after approximately six years of using the DogWatch System (and numerous dogs) I still feel it is the best product on the market.
I have used with much difficultly one of your competitors underground dog fences and was not only disappointed with its ability to contain my dogs, but their customer service did not even compare to yours. When my dogs were on your competitors system they would constantly beat the fence by draining the batteries on the average of one a week. At one point, your competitor suggested that my three German Shepards wear two collars each. This technique was not successful. Beyond the cost factor, the safety of my dogs was significantly jeopardized. We were at out wits end and planning to invest thousands of dollars to physically fence in our 4.5 acres with traditional fencing. I found DogWatch on the internet, purchased one of your pet fences and have not a problem since. I currently have two Akitas and one Shepherd who are very happy and safe staying at home.

First off let me say what a pleasure it was doing business with you. The time you took to explain everything about your fence system was reassuring. The book was helpful, the DVD was helpful, but the fact that you came to our home and actually showed us how to train our dog to use the fence left me feeling completely comfortable. Everyone was pleasant and friendly.
It's also nice to know that if we have a problem with the system, or even if our dog decides to ignore it, we have someone to turn to for help. The peace of mind it has given us is priceless. We can let Tea' run with our children in the yard and not worry that she will run into the road. Even the neighbors that walk and jog on the road don't have to worry that she will chase them.

We purchased one of DogWatch’s pet fences several years ago. It's a great system, and works for even the most "bone-headed" dog on earth - our chocolate Lab. The Valiquette's did a great job installing it exactly where and how we wanted it. I've recommended you folks many times to many people who were looking for fences for dogs and wondered how we kept our dog "contained". She loves being able to run around our property, keeps her weight down, and keeps out of danger from cars in the road. Very cool. And much more attractive than a chain-link fence.

I had my first training session with Jan Paseur with Kyle Paseur’s dealership. I’m so pleased with the quality of service that has been given. From the initial information call, to the scheduling of the installation and training sessions, and the cleanliness of the installment crew, and the animal handling skills of the trainer…..I’m very impressed. I’m a director of a municipal animal control facility, therefore; I’m very interested in the proper confinement of pets. I bought the system for my cats to insure that my cats stay safely home, but have the opportunity to enjoy the outside.

We recently moved to a new home on a golf course. Naturally, we didn't want pet fences spoiling our view, but even more importantly, we didn't want our Scottish terriers Nicklaus and Palmer to be restricted by walking with a leash. Lori and Carl - I just want to say THANK YOU again for the quick response in getting our DogWatch fence installed. Reno (our Rottweiler) is doing great...it only took 1 day for him to learn the ropes. We were at our wit's end with putting him on the 30 foot lead. We had to replace it twice in one month. When I told people that we were getting the DogWatch fence installed, they were skeptical. Two people indicated that there was NO WAY it would hold him. Well, I'm happy to say...they are wrong!!! I have sent you my comments before when I first bought my fence. I told you how happy I was and how great the fence works. It has been two years since my fence was installed and I just want to let you know that I am so happy with it still. The SERVICE is second to none and the value and protection for my dog and family is first class. I have met others who have the competitor's pet fences and have nothing but bad luck and awful service. I tell them about how I can call Curt and have a new collar for Zoey in a matter of minutes or troubleshoot my fence or collar right over the phone. A solution is a "right away" thing with Curt. He never leaves me without my fence. I have bought items that cost a ton of more money and never gotten this kind of service. I wanted to drop you a line to tell you what happened this morning (or what didn't happen.) Bailey, Lola and Jesse are barking in unison non-stop while I'm trying to get a few more ZZZs in. I get up to open the slider to let them out and give myself some peace. As I'm watching, all three of them b-line it toward the field in the back. I'm thinking there's no way they can brake in time to not cross over because they are flying so fast. I instinctively yell out my motherly "CAREFUL!" All of a sudden I see three big deer galloping away in the other direction. Smart deer! All three dogs stop right before the line and watch the deer go off. (I need to check for skid marks later on.)
When they finally came back in later I realized (as usual) Lola's collar wasn't on (Jesse pulled it off again). Even with her collar off and with three big deer they (all three) stopped short of the boundary line. This DogWatch fence is truly working incredibly and we are very pleased with it and with our decision to go with you versus going with competitor pet fences. I really think that the training all came in their first two days and the rest was just reinforcement. You are a wonderful trainer! I wanted to write to thank you for their safety, for our peace of mind and wish you a peaceful and hopefully snowy Christmas!

Normally I don't send thank you letters, but it is rare you purchase something for your home that seems to be worth every penny and the company is easy to deal with.
The system works exactly as you outlined it to be before the purchase. Fletch (my 90 pound Weimaraner) had been roaming the neighborhood and wreaking havoc. Then we had the system installed. We were skeptical. Fletch is a large dog and doesn't seem to catch on quickly.
Your installer, Alex, was extremely helpful in explaining and assisting in the training of Fletch. The follow-up was great as well. We even had the line severed by the cable company and Alex came right out to repair the underground dog fences’ broken line and get the system up and working. Also, we had several follow-up questions in the weeks after the installation and Alex was there to answer. Great service.
Now our neighbors, like us again, and Fletch can be left out in the yard. He roams the yard, but does not leave the confines of the yard. We simply don't have to worry about him getting loose anymore. Having this peace of mind that he will not bother the neighbors, and he is SAFE made the purchase worth every penny.

Dear Dave: Thanks to you and Alex for installing the DogWatch Hidden Fence last March. You have unlocked our yard for us.
Having two large dogs living near the water in Florida can be a dangerous thing. I often times see alligators on the lake and know that my labs wouldn't stand a chance against them. We installed a regular fence but this restricted the family to a small portion of our 2 acre yard. Installing the hidden fence has allowed our family to spend time together no matter where we are on our property. We now have the added security that the dogs are safe without having to take a second mortgage.
My wife also loves the benefit of not having to watch the dogs when the front and side doors are open. Also, with two kids under four I can't tell you how good that makes her feel.

When my husband and I first began researching hidden pet fences we found many options available. We had never personally seen any of them in use so we had to start from the beginning. When we narrowed them down we had three different companies come to our house to show us what they have to offer. DogWatch pet fences were far above the others in terms of both features and training. I especially liked the extra-long battery life that none of the others could come close to matching.
We were also concerned that a hidden fence would not be a possible option for our 8-month old Alaskan Malamute as many people said dogs of her breed were too difficult to train and would run through the fence. We have proven them all wrong! During the first week McKinley did test the fence just once and ran through. I was very concerned and called Lori Russell who reassured me that this does happen in the beginning as they are learning. The very next day we were back to reinforce to McKinley what she had learned that first day. It was great knowing that if we ever have any concerns or questions they would be there to help us. Of course, we have not had one incident since!
I now do not have to worry that McKinley will run away when we are playing fetch and running around outside. The additional exercise she gets now makes her a much happier dog when she is inside (a tired and happy dog!) and I know she would love to thank Lori and DogWatch as well for enriching her life with the great outdoors! Thanks for everything...I don't know how we managed without our DogWatch fence!

This past Friday night one of our two dog collar (receivers) died. I called our local rep, who happens to be the town police chief. Mr. Mitchell was here within 15 minutes and quickly and cheerfully replaced the dead receiver, gave us 4 new batteries and chalked it all up to our service plan. We own 2 coon hounds. One, the Walker, weighs approximately 90 lbs and is one year old. The other, a Black & Tan, is 7 months old. We live in the country and tried to let the dogs roam. Both are inside dogs and when nature called, we could not let them run free, for their "noses" always got them in trouble. Everything that passed through our yard, its scent was devoured by their noses and off they went. We quickly found out we could not let them run free. When nature called, we would taken them out on leashes or tie them up. My wife has emphysema and two trips outside with both dogs was very hard for her. Our solution? Call Kriger Fence. Scott Kriger returned our call immediately and came to our home. He gave us an estimate and explained how the system worked. We were so pleased with his courtesy, appearance, and professionalism that we called and scheduled an installation no more than 10 minutes after his departure. The DogWatch system was installed within a week, and Scott returned to help us train the dogs. Our coon hounds run free now that they know their boundaries. It is so nice to just open the door and let them out. Our only regret? Why didn't we call Kriger Fence sooner. Thanks, again, Scott and all at Kriger Fence.

I'll have to admit I did not want to have a hidden fence system installed when we purchased two golden retriever puppies four years ago. My husband saw all the problems I had walking two dogs outside in the yard (and so) we had the DogWatch fence system installed. The dogs were easily trained and I really love it. I feel good about letting the dogs out without having to go with them every time as we live near some busy highways and I had a fear of the dogs getting hit by a car. It works great and I love it!

In November 2003, I had a wonderful experience with DogWatch. I contacted Danny and Linda Holt and inquired about a DogWatch fence for my yard. Mr. and Ms. Holt promptly arrived at our home on the arranged date. They were very professional and extremely knowledgeable of their product. It was easy for my husband and I to see that DogWatch pet fences were the company for us! The Holts remained friendly and exceptionally caring toward us and our Doberman Pinscher, Bronson, during all interactions. I just wanted to tell you again how pleased my family is with the DogWatch indoor system you installed in our home for our Saint Bernards. It truly amazes me that my puppies learned "the ropes" in less than day with the training and techniques. It's such a better life for all of us not to yell at the dogs when they chase the cat in the formal living room, or eat all her food in the laundry room in a split second. We no longer have any worries as to where the dogs are at any given moment - they are always where they are supposed to be. AND best of all - the baby gates are now stored in the closet - baby gates are a huge hassle and can never be a sensible solution to keeping dogs contained in a house. We are just thrilled with the system and will highly recommend it to anyone with inside dogs. It was well worth the price, without question.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how much we like your product. We have a small 80-acre ranch and run a few head of cattle and we also have two full grown black labs that love to run.
With us living in the country, it is just too much area to run and we do not like to see dogs chained up. Before DogWatch we would get phone calls from neighboring farms and ranches complaining that the dogs were bothering their chickens or other animals. DogWatch was just what we needed. We have three acres just around the house that the dogs can run and play as much as they want and they stay off the roadway and stay out of the cow pastures and barn area. We love it!
